Hall Entrepreneur Foundation Summer Scholars Program
Program Overview: The Hall Entrepreneur Foundation is excited to announce its Summer Scholars Program, designed for rising high school seniors interested in entrepreneurship. This enriching experience will allow three selected scholars to shadow successful business owners, gaining valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of running a business.
Program Details:
- Duration: One week during the summer.
- Experience: Each scholar will be paired with a local business owner, where they will learn about various aspects of business management, including customer relations, marketing, and operational strategies.
- Goals: By the end of the program, scholars will develop a deeper understanding of entrepreneurship, business etiquette, and the significant role small businesses play in their communities. We hope to inspire them to consider starting their own ventures in the future.
Networking Opportunities: Participants will have the chance to build connections with established business owners and fellow scholars, creating a supportive network that can be valuable as they pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a rising high school senior.
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Submission of one letter of recommendation from a teacher or mentor highlighting reliability and work ethic.
- A short written statement (300 words or less) explaining your interest in the Summer Scholars Program and what you hope to gain from the experience.
Stipend and Luncheon: At the conclusion of the program, each selected scholar will receive a stipend as a token of appreciation for their participation. Additionally, a celebratory luncheon will be held to honor the scholars, business owners, and mentors involved in the program.
